1. Healdsburg-Dry Creek Valley Wine Tasting
This tour begins with wine tasting at Quivira, which is situated in the heart of this scenic river valley that runs west from Lake Sonoma to Healdsburg. The warm hillsides are planted with Zinfandel and Petit Syrah and other varietals. Quivira is a nice place to relax while sipping on Zins and Sauvignon Blanc. Next, we ride to Michele Slumberger for a private tour of this mission style estate that offers a scenic hillside vineyard tour. With sweeping views from this hillside estate, we'll taste their premium estate wines. This is a small custom wine tour that is one of the best I've been on because it provides an abundance of wine education, humor and visits every area of the winery. From there, we'll ride south along Dry Creek that is known for "Old Vine Zin" and Cabernet Sauvignon. Production of these award-winning wines are made in small family and modest wineries. Finally, we'll make our way to Lampert Bridge Winery and cool down in one of the more charming tasting rooms and galleries in all the Dry Creek Valley. After enjoying a nice picnic lunch in their garden, we'll ride back to the vehicle or continue for more mileage. This ride is suitable for all level of riders.

2. Russian River Valley-Guerneville Armstrong Woods
The Russian River region has been designated a cool growing region within the wine country because the coastal fog creeps up the river and its tributaries. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay made here are exceptional in their own right. Not to be overlooked are the sparkling wines that are produced here. We will begin our tour tasting the award-winning wines at Hop Kiln Winery that has many of the more popular varietals to choose from. From there, we make our way along the Russian River and make a stop at Rochioli Vineyards and Winery, which has been growing at this family, owned and operated location since the 1930's. The picnic area that overlooks the vineyard is where we will relax and enjoy lunch before saddling up for Korbel Champagne Cellars. Korbel is my favorite stop in this region due to its pure charm and long history and tradition of making fine champagne, wines, sparkling wines, brandy, and even recently, micro-beers.
Three miles biking down the river lay Guerneville, a small quaint town that serves as a summer retreat for many Bay Area residents. From there we will ascend up to Armstrong Woods where we will take in the breathtaking sights of 300 ft tall groves of redwoods. Finally, we will cross the river and pass through Monte Rio and complete our loop back to Hop Kiln. This tour includes amazing views of redwood-forested foothills, the Russian River, and beautiful Mustard Flowers in the springtime.

3. Mt. Tam State Park-Downhill to HWY 1/ Stinson Beach
This adrenaline filled tour begins atop the East peak of Mt Tam near the 2,500 ft level and takes you through some of the best roads to be found anywhere. The views are "to die for" being that a majority of this ride is about 1,700-2,000 feet above Point Reyes, Bolinas Lagoon, and Stinson Beach below. Whether you want to just sit back and cruise, or gear up for some speed, this 10-mile tour will appeal to anyone who enjoys a little adventure and spectacular scenery. Photography is popular, among the several stops we make, since the vistas of San Francisco, Point Reyes, Mt Tam, Bolinas Lagoon, Muir Woods, soaring hang gliders, and Stinson Beach are incredible. Once out of the hills, the flat pavement along Bolinas Lagoon is considered an excellent stop for bird watching and relaxing along the tidal flats. Keep a close look out for the Great White Egret in the nearby tidal flats in the lagoon. This trip ends with some R&R on the soft sandy beach at Stinson. This is where we'll load the bikes up for the relaxing drive along HWY ONE back to San Francisco. Bring plenty of film because there is no better place for panoramic photos than here. This could quite possibly be the best trip we offer.

4. Point Reyes-Point Reyes Lighthouse
Point Reyes National Seashore is a study in motion- slow continental transformations and sudden, violent jolts that shake the earth and the wind and waves have carved out this spectacle. The San Andreas Fault Zone caused this massive peninsula of land to leap 20 feet northwestward during the San Francisco Earthquake in 1906. This has created a great opportunity to explore this land and should be seen from the saddle of your bike. From here, we'll drive to the small town of Inverness where we will saddle up for the ride up to the summit (350 ft) and on down to Point Reyes Beach where we will have lunch. Next, we will drive the vehicle with the bikes up the windy road to Point Reyes Lighthouse for a "Titanic Like" view of the Pacific Ocean and beyond. This is the best location for viewing the Grey whales on their northward and southward migrations during the months of January - April. Sea Lions and thousands of Common Murres make this area their home. This trip highlights all the best sights of Point Reyes ranging from its amazing beaches, lighthouse, coastal headlands, visitor centers, dense forests, lagoons and amazing wildlife.

5. Napa Valley Wine Country-Silverado Trail
The Napa Valley region is hands down the "Crown Jewel" of Northern California's wine country due to its stunning natural beauty. This region is blessed by cool fog from San Pablo Bay and warmer weather on the northern side near Mt St Helena. This valley is dotted with amazing turn of the century chateau-like wineries that are built from stones from this rocky terrain. All this is surrounded by the grace and charm of world-renowned vineyards. We'll stop off for a bit of bubbly in the Carneros Region at the most impressive European chateau Domain Carneros. Experience all of this from the leisurely pace from our bikes riding on the eastern side of the valley along the Silverado trail with our second stop at Signorello and then on to Clos Du Val Winery with its fine redwood tasting room. The ride in is amazing with its perfectly manicured courtyard.
After sampling their large selection of Chardonnay, we'll take a quick ride through the tree-lined back-roads to Trefethen Vineyards. The entrance driveway of this large estate is so impressively long; it was used as a private airstrip for Mr. Trefethen back in the early 1900's. The Dry Riesling here is incredible as are many of the older aged (1998-2000) red wines they serve here for tasting. Those who choose to relax in the courtyard while having lunch can do so while the others take an optional 45-minute ride (round trip) and tasting at the Laird Family Estate where you can experience fine Chardonnay in one of the newest and impressive contemporary style destinations in the entire valley. After the group comes together, we'll make our way to Monticello Cellars for our last stop.

6. Sonoma County Wine tour
Cycling the beautiful wineries of Sonoma County provides the perfect excuse for tasting California's fine varietals and exploring the states interior region. This piedmont country, that is located between the Pacific Ocean and the Maycamas mountain range, divides its terrain between vineyards, ranches and dense forests. This region is blessed with exactly the right combination of sun, soil, seasonal moisture and geography for producing wine grapes of exceptional quality.
We'll arrive at the historic Sonoma Plaza where we'll begin our ride through town and up into the nearby hills where Buena Vista Winery will provide us an enjoyable area for our picnic lunch and sipping their Merlots, Pinots and Cabernets. From there, we'll ride down and to the quaint and modest Ravenswood winery that's sits on its perch atop a small knoll with a view of a nearby valley. This is an ideal place to shop for gifts and wine accessories in its quaint tasting room while enjoying fine varietals. We'll saddle up and cruise downhill into town where we'll leave the bikes in the plaza park for some walking to the Sebastiani tasting room. The Spanish-style town of Sonoma and its relaxing plaza is an ideal place to rest the legs and enjoy a gourmet snack from one of its many delicatessens.

7. Carmel-Monterey-17 Mile Drive
Like fine wine, this is a classic tour that has been a favorite for 2 million+ visitors every year to this sunny and warm region on the Monterey Peninsula. Its rocky shoreline and Cypress forests create a serene landscape surrounded by palatial homes. Monterey serves, as the gateway to the impressive Big Sur. We'll take time to explore the most popular Cannery Row and the Fisherman's Wharf where we'll begin our tour.
The pure beauty and charm of this region is a must see if you have never been there. Maybe that is why Clint Eastwood (previous mayor of Carmel), John Steinbeck, and other famous writers and celebrities made this region their home. We will follow the windy coast south through Cannery Row and Fisherman's Wharf. We will then continue along the jagged coastline through Pacific Grove. The infamous 17-mile drive through the heart of Monterey Peninsula reveals some very impressive estates with gorgeous scenery. We will stop and see Point Pinos, Asilomar State Beach, Spanish Bay, and Point Joe before returning back to Monterey to spend 1 hour or so walking through the attractions of your choice. This area offers plenty of history, charm and character.
